Well "win" is just the half-ass pronunciation with the accent dropped. In the real pronunciation, there is a hint of a 'g' sound to it: "ng." Then the pitch and tempo varies which I have no idea how to describe. I hear a lot of different pronunciations for this: "new-yen" "new-win", then there's "win."

exactly, good explanation

I know a guy who is named, Mee Phuck Yu.

No you don't.

i hate it when ppl make crap like this up. when have you ever heard of someone with the last name Mee

Hello, Mee is a first name dumbasses.

If its an asian name, the last name comes first. Like mine would be Lee Te Ming, and not Te Ming Lee. "Yu" is a common last name though.

Are we in China, or in Asia for that matter? No. So its first name, middle name, last name.

Asia or not, it's still the way they structure their names. No changing that.

LOL, are you telling me how to spell my name? Fvck off.

Not telling you how to do anything, just making a statement. sheesh......

Fvck you. And to tell me that I don't know this person. Fvck you in the ass.

why do you get so defensive? And when does he tell you how to spell your name. The only one doing that was you.

Are you not wrong in saying that I don't know this person? I know how Chinese names are written out but I don't do that. Sorry I don't conform to your standards.

her209,
It's obvious you really did make up that name for some cheap laugh, and after failing horribly at it, proceeded to name calling. Now what are you? 13? I'm personally from Irvine, I went to woodbridge HS, and know people from Uni, Irvine High, and Rancho (mid school) which I'm sure you're totally familiar with, and if such a person does exist, I'm pretty sure I'd know about it.

If what you're saying is true, than this would be the first time in history that an asian-american has the word "phuck" in their name.

Grow Up, kid

Nope, but assuming you are under 14, that should be where most of the asian people you know are.

My point was that you called me a liar which I am not. My point was that not everyone asian person writes their names last name first. So stop dwelling on it, and accept the fact that some asian people write their names first name first, hence why its called first name.

Fine. Go back and read my first post.... see the :p <--- indicates I'm just fvckin with ya.

Also, just because you and a few (compared to the rest of the asian population) don't follow the traditional way of doing it, doesn't make me wrong.

No, that doesn't make you wrong. What makes you wrong is that you assumed two things that is not true.

1) I write last name before first name.
2) I don't know this person.

Added after seeing that you obviously don't know my personality and that you were beginning to get offended, which was not my intention.
