so a buddy who's asian was telling us the other day that he cuts his own hair. we were surprised, but he said lots of asian guys cut their own hair. so let's do the ol' ATOT test and see if there's any truth to this.

I can, and did a couple times before. But that doesn't mean it looked good or anything. Definitely not in the back.

<- 1/2 Asian, cuts own hair. Started doing it myself after my Greek barber fvcked it up ON PURPOSE (bastard). Figured if I can fix that, I can do it my damn self.

I've only had two barbers that could cut it right anyway. One Vietnamese, one Korean.

I once walked into a hair cutting place (not a barber shop, not a salon), looked around and saw nothing but copies of Ebony and Jet sitting around in the lounge, but I thought it would be rude to leave, so I stayed and got the worst haircut EVAR.

i've been cutting my own hair since I was a sophomore in high school..which was close to ten years ago.
I think I've got it down to a science, I wonder how much money I've saved by doing it myself?

i've never heard of this..... granted, for three months I cut my own hair... everything but the back was great. heh... it also took like 1.5hrs because it was difficult to do the back. needless to say, i've given up.

I'll note I have very short hair, buzz like. I once let my friend cut my hair w/ just scissors... like.. for cutting paper and such :p She took an hour and a half to do that too... funny sight to see.

Yes, I cut my own hair.
I did it because of neccessity.

My dad always cut my hair when I was younger and I hated it.
When I had money, I would go to a shop to get it cut but they always fvck it up worst.
I remembered senior yr and my barber fvcked up my hair so bad, I wore a cap for over a week.
Certain teacher won't let you wear a hat so when I had to take it off, I was teased ridiculously.

After high school, since you can wear a hat whenever in college, I started experimenting cuting my own hair. Do a pretty good job now. Take me at most 30mins.

The problem with cutting Asian male hair is that our hair are very thick.
It you cut the hair too short it will stick up like crazy.
Notice when a caucasion male hair gets wet and he drys it.....it will be normal.
Now an Asian male hair gets wet, drys it and all the hair are sticking out.

Asian female do not have the same problem because their hair are always long...duh!

I would like to do something else besides the spike look ... it's getting old but if I let it grow, my hair just gets bigger and bigger like a fro.
