Asherton's Call / WinNT4 SP6 / DirectX?

Hey I was wondering if anyone has gotten Asherton's Call to work on WinNT4. It is having a problem with DirectX not being installed. I know that NT doesnt have DirectX but most of my other games have been able to run fine in DirectX.

Also even so, are there any workarounds to get the game up and running? My girlfriend has expressed intrest (to my GREAT pleasure) in playing but for us to both play then she would have to install it on her laptop (meets hardware requirements) from work and it is NT4 SP6.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!! 🙂 thanks!
