This got me intrigued but no Best Buys around here.

Did some research-Circuit City, C*mpUSA, and probably others also have it at $19.99 - $20 MIR (sticker on box).

The fine print on the box says one free month expires 12/31/00 but I don't think this is correct.

Got mine at Circuit City-now need some newbie advice for Asheron's Call. Will this jepordize my marriage?

LOL.... yes it will. I have been playing AC for over a year now. It has been one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played... also one of the most addicting. Look me up if you decide to purchase and I can teach you the ropes.

The better the game is, the more it subtracts from your real life. But if it's for only $9.95/mo.... ;^>

You still get the 1st month free, even after 12/31/00. I just couldn't get into the game. I come from an EQ background and decided to try out AC. The interface is IMHO very clunky. They force you to go thru your browser first to enter a game, and the buttons and controls in the game aren't as intuitive as in EQ. But the biggest problem for me was the butt ugly graphics. I just couldn't immerse myself in AC as I could in EQ.
