Hey, my friend said he would sell me his copy of Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings. My question is, does this game REQUIRE A MONTHLY FEE??? I cant find info. on it anywhere, so any help would be awsome!
Yes, and RUN away from this game as fast as possible. Your so-called "friend" is selling you this game because it was annouced late last week that all the AC2 servers will be shut down completely in December.
It's odd how the original Asheron's Call is still going fairly strong and just released a new expansion, yet the sequel will be shutdown forever come December.
Not much of a friend, if you ask me. They did in fact announce the game's termination a few days ago. I wonder why AC1 is still profitable if AC2 is not?

Well, I played AC1 for over a year but never played AC2. One of the best things about AC1 was they are still adding tons of new monthly content and items nearly 5 years after it launched. The player base has fallen off a good bit over the last couple years, but many still play and some veterans are going back to AC1 after playing other MMORPG.
From what I've heard from clanmates who moved to AC2, the exact opposite was true. The developers couldn't keep up with everyone advancing in level, so apparently they neffed everyone's skills to slow level progression instead of adding new content. Basically, once you got to a higher level, there simply was nothing new to do.
