I just started reading about this game and it seems really kick ass. Is there any way to still get into the beta? Is it an open beta? Thanks for any info.
 
I think you can still sign up with a FilePlanet subscriber account (one-month account costs something like $7) and download the beta from them. Also, Computer Games Magazine has the beta on their cover CD in the October issue. I assume (hope!) the beta will go open towards the end of testing, too.
Note, however, that currently the beta is extremely unstable and actually has been down for several days. The servers couldn't cope with all the new players from FilePlanet.
