Ashcroft out Jeb in?

Could Ashcroft's outing be the opening GW wants for Jeb? JFK did it, so could this happen? Bringing Jeb in to a high post would certainly set him up for a 2008 run, and no doubt 12 years of a Bush Whitehouse (from today). Jeb would get lots of attention, power, exposure. The nation would not be surprised at his running to replace GW in 2008. I really feel this coming. Maybe Ashcroft's outing isn?t so much his idea as others? This would be BIG TIME payoff for Jeb's help in Florida, twice, and a big show of pride for Bush senior from his son GW. The Republican's were so good at keeping the Whitehouse, I would bet their eye is on a much bigger picture that we can imagine. Throw in Karl Rove to cement the deal, and its done! 12
years a guarantee.

This post is not meant to be negitive, but just a thought.

How is Jeb in comparison with the Dub as far as his Political stance? Does he pander to the Religious rights as much? All I know about him is that he inherited the smarts that the Dub didn't from his daddy.

A well-known figure in the college republicans group here told me that Jeb might get it. so it ain't only speculation from the left

I would have a very hard time voting for another Bush. Having any one family in power for that long is certainly not healthy. I doubt I'll even vote Republican next time for this reason. A balance of party powers is the greatest check/balance that we have.

Many believed people wouldnt/couldn?t re elect a lying war president, but they did. Don?t underestimate what Karl Rove can still do in 2008.

You guys are so one side, and so biased, you just make up stories. JEB is not a lawyer. He will not be Attorney General. He has never even been remotely interested. Please guys at least do some research before Bush bashing. LMAO at the radicals. Besides as Governor of Florida he is well positioned if he would decide to run. Governor is the BEST launching pad to the presidency. Four out of the last 5 presidents were governors. Carter, Reagan, Clinton and Bush were all governors.
