John Ashcroft just annouced this a being a new virus. It's called "Nimda" which they suspect is "Admin" spelled backwards. They say that all the anti-virus companies have posted the required fixes, so I guess everybody should go download them.

Please post your comments in the existing thread on this subject.

You could waste your time downloading antiviral software and endless fixes, or you could just not infect yourself with the virus.

RSI,

If I am not mistaken this just like CodeBlue and CodeRed can spread if you have IIS installed. It doesn't require you to run an attachment to be infected so don't make ignorant comments like that. :)

Mark my words:
You can protect yourself, but you can't protect your users.

Geeze, you freaked me out. With all the talk of terrorists, I was thinking that a real virus had been made.
