Ashampoo burning studio 7.1 can't detect my dvd burner

I just installed ashampoo burning studio 7.1 on my laptop, when I want to beurn something it gives an error saying it can't detect a cd reader on my device.
I'm using a VAIO FZ160 with vista hp.

Is there anything I can do?🙁
