Hi
What do u guys think of This for my new rig.

ASUS P5AD2E-Prem
P4 3.0 Gz (@ 3 Gz)
Powercolor X700Pro
DDR2 1 Gz

Is this kit sufficient, coz cant stand of the noise of intels HSF.

Can u guys suggest any other kit around this price?
The one that Im after is the one that will looks like a kit.
I dont want different shape or color for all my blocks.
Just want to make my new rig to looks cool and consistent, thats all.

Thank you so much guys

It's very decent, but you would be better off buying seperate... Aseteks HDD coolers are untouchable. 😀 I cool 16 drives with em.

It'll do you okay. Some issues:

1. Push fittings: I've learned that very secure fittings are a must for water-cooling. However, some people use them with no problems.

2. The L30: Stock L30's needed to be modded to avoid leaking. Asetek MAY do this for you. I'm not sure.

3. The rad: A single 120mm rad may not be enough for all three blocks. As long as you're running everything at stock it shouldn't be an issue.

The plus for going DIY is that you can mix and match in order to get better individual parts. However, that process is more daunting if you're new to water-cooling being that you have to carefully review the parts individually. There's something to be said for getting everything you need in one box though.

The fans are on a fan controller I made myself. I'm really into DIY audio, and I've help several of my friends make 'boom' cars, so I know all about how to dampen sound. All in all the fans barely hit 32db(A) at 1 meter. (remember db measurements are USELESS without distance)

What I'm running is easy to find out... look real hard.. like half an inch below this line.

I just have to ask, why? What on earth do you do that would require all that hardware?

I said it before and I'll say it again.
Water Cooling--->Expensive, Overrated
Air Cooling--->Cheap, Abundant, Safe, Works Fine
Passive cooling dosen't do a bad job either.

And you were just as knee-jerk and lacking in knowledge then as you are now.

Thx for all ur replys.
Are there any significant changes in the temp between water and air?
And are the difference worth it comapred to the different in price?

thank you everyone

Yes, there are significant differences in operating temps. How significant depends. Whether water-cooling is worth it hinges on you, how much energy you're willing to put into the endeavor and what you have to spend.
