the router has VPN connectivity and is a middle-end product that aimed at small business level usage.

It is absolute steal for setting up a VPN setup for $60, the wireless feature is a plus too.

So, if you need either 1) wireless connectivity or 2) firewall router (internet gateway) or
3) VPN setup , then it is quite a good deal.


 
For all those who ordered but are on backorder (Sent to warehouse) - talked to Buy.com yesterday - ordered two on 1/22, needed one ASAP. Asante no longer makes these and Buy.com is not getting any more in to fill the backorders. They ended up canceling my order. It would have been a great deal for a VPN appliance.
