AS5 Shelf life?

I'm going to be building new system in the next 2 weeks and want to check to see whether some AS5 I have is still good. I first bought it for a family build 5 years ago and have used it sparingly since...verdict?

It won't have gone "bad", but it will have settled out (even though they claim it doesn't settle), so you'll have to figure out how to resuspend it without getting bubbles or dirt into it. I suggest using something made of plastic like a CLEAN canape pick or a swizzle stick.

I may have been gone for a while but, seems to me the search function would still be operable. 😉 I'm joshing you.

The silver content will more than likely have begun to separate slightly form the suspension fluid they use, think of it like how oil suspends dirt, if it was stored with the tip of the syringe down you should have to problems just using it if you want though it's going to be very thick. If you feel like it's worthwhile you can pop the plunger out of the syringe and mix it back up with the likes of a toothpick to get some of the consistency back.
