I bought the Imation Ripgo recently on the CompUSA deal. (I still haven't received the rebate.) I also have had a devil of a time looking for a decent price on the mini cdrs. The best that I found was sku 10302721 50PK POCKET MINI CDR MEDIA 16X 185MB 21MIN SPINDLE from buy.com for $15.46. I am willing to be humbled by the greater expertise of another ATer (because I'll probably need some more in the not-too-distant future).

If you look in the original thread about the RipGO!, jbserra posted a link to Darktek which has a 50-disc spindle of Memorex 210MB discs for $14.95 with free shipping.

I got them and they work fine.

Despite the flame, buy.com still appears to be the lowest price. The dartek disks no longer come with free shipping, and with shipping a 50 pack now comes to about $20.

A lot of folks bought the imation ripgo, so where are you getting cheap mini cds?

you can get crappy ones at Fry's sometimes for like 3 bucks for 10, it's pretty much the same as your price, but you don't have to buy 50. <shrug>

Actually I know what the point of this thread is...for those that got the ripgo(like me) it would be nice to find a great deal on mini cdrs. mini cdrw will not work in that thing. For me I was able to get a couple of compusa 15 pack of black minis when they were on clearance for 4.88 but I sure wish imation had made that thing at least read a cdrw
