Vista and W7 made manual alignment a thing of the past.
Do I really have to wipe to realign?
Unless of course you run Paragon Alignment Tool: http://www.paragon-software.com/landing-pages/WhitePapers/paragon_alignment_tool.html
Fixes it in a pinch.
yup, used on my Intel 80gb G2.
I haven't been much help here but if ya need any more info just give a holler!![]()
Jim, I'm voting you try it.
The worst it could do would be trashing your OS install and that's no biggie.
Go for it!![]()
WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!
Thanks![]()
Can I use wiper.exe on this drive?
Thanks for the heads up on Paragon. I used the program and found my Agility SSD was indeed out of alignment since I did an upgrade from XP.
I was able to re-align without data loss, by using GParted, and following these instructions:

I guess people would do just about anything except a new install?![]()
