With this latest update -- I was able to get Google Chrome to work normally!
I had deleted Chrome and then went to download Chrome a week or so ago and windows 10 would not allow me to download Chrome! I checked online and found that was the case with a lot of people!

I have a friends who is one of the Microsoft MVP`s who told me that making Chrome work on all computers was a priority for Microsoft...so I waited patiently!!

Peace to all my ATOT Comrades!!

Title should be: "As of today, Windows 10 works 0.1% better/worse (depending on if you like Chrome)". :awe:

I actually Loved windows 10 without Google Chrome!!
I am just happy to have it available!!

My opinion on windows 10 is that Microsoft hit a homerun!!

80% of all issues people are having with windows 10 is not Microsofts fault.....

For example....people crying because the cannot download windows 10 and they have 8.0 or 8.1 and have not downloaded any of the updates that you are required to have in order to download windows 10....and other things that are the users fault!!

That's great man. I know the feeling. A couple years ago when I started using Linux I was a little depressed because there was no easy way to install and use Chrome. I was stuck with FF or some other browser that I had never heard of. Sure there was Chromium but it wasn't the same.

Anyway, I remember when Google made Chrome easily available to dl and install on a Linux based system and it made me happy.

Glad to hear it's available and stable on Win10.

Yup. It is interesting how they released it in July, as they usually seem to wait until October. Maybe they said "if we push it out to everyone early, maybe that will give manufacturers and software developers and nice kick in the pants to hurry up and update their drivers/compatibility faster" which is a neat idea indeed. More bugs out in the open means all their employees won't be slacking off during the summer as well (or perhaps most of them are on vacation anyway, giving their devoted fans and upgraded users the opportunity to take the spotlight to be MVPs and save the day on internet blogs and forums while most of the MS crew are on some remote island occasionally using Google on their iPads to read the chaos with diabolical laughter... which is a great idea for employee morale).

Technically it's down to Chrome since it is a third party browser so Google have to make sure it works right with Win10.

Personally I hate Chrome, FF fan here, so much better customisation.

Dude, if you will do a search there are many people who Chrome quit working totally!! There are many people who deleted Chrome and then tried to download Chrome and install and it did not allow Chrome to install!!

Then as is always the case dealing with people online there is always and will always be exceptions to anything!! I am happy that YOU had no issues with chrome working!!
