I called up support, and the rep gave me an address in IL to ship it to (their warehouse), and told me to include a paragraph explaining what's wrong with the camera, and to put my name, address, and phone number, so that they can call me and give me a price. I shipped it on the 10th, and it got there the 13th. I called in today, and they have no record of my name/zip code. I called the IL warehouse, and they said that the rep didn't know what he was talking about, because they don't fix D60's in IL...only in CA. When they get a D60, they don't even look at it, they just ship it off to CA.

I called the CA warehouse, and they have no record of the camera either.

Is it possible they haven't gotten it yet? Wouldn't the IL warehouse at least scan it in or something, and call me with a tracking number?

as long as you have a tracking number, they're responsible for it. Get a manager on the phone, and tell him the facts. Give him the tracking number, and tell him to find the camera or give you some monatary compensation.

yeah, call support, ask for either a manager or a level 3 tech. got privy to talk to a level 2 tech once, he was fairly knowledgeable and very understanding. even made a very subtle joke about the first guy that tried to help me out.

Old Canon D60 > New Canon G6

You can't compare a proven DSLR with a Prosumer P&S.

I'll give them a few more days, and if I get no calls, that's probably what I'll do.
