You're boxing a shadow, things I didn't imply. I was responding to someone that brought up my dislikes here... the conversation wandered a bit. No one is talking about taking away our constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech. This isn't the 2A here we're talking about, you know.. the one the liberals don't care about. We're talking about the 1A that still has bipartisan support.

Relax baby cakes.

To summarize the thread so far and help get you caught up, two main points have been established:

-There are some liberals that got offended because men didn't shave for one month out of the year, the liberals felt this was a microaggression and racist as well as sexist. Mainstream online media posted these opinions.

-When leftist violence is committed in the name of leftist ideals or inspired by leftist hate groups like BLM, it is not counted as terror so when these guys post about right wing terror we're looking at an incomplete picture and a skewed one at that.

These are the established facts thus far.

Cherry picked facts posted as propaganda.

Most liberals don't know what Movember is. Most who know what it is don't care about it. Most who care about it, support men's health. Sorry about your mental health issues, take good care of yourself and don't fall victim to clickbait.

I am personally very bothered by this post. We have this new feature, new to me anyway, where we can rate people plus or minus and you already have as of now 366 negative reactions. As a liberal, this makes my heart bleed. I guess it isn't gang rape but it reminds me of playground bullying, a way to single out somebody for mass contempt. I wish that like and dislike feature were not there and because I don't want my opinion of somebody's worth to be influenced by my own, I never use it. I expect people to say what they believe without though of approval or disrespect, particularly without thought of garnering either on a like dislike meter. And I am bothered by this a lot. It is for me just another tool to divide people according to ideology, to flatter ego or wallow in negative attention. What, for example, should I say to you about your rather amazing negative score, heads up there Bub, you are showing signs of being disliked by your fellow human beings, or that perhaps for you a negative score at least provided you with some sort of group attention of an unhealthy nature, or that it just satisfies some need to proves the forum is full of assholes on the left. Maybe also you are intentionally insincere in what you post because your only real aim is to piss people off. Maybe you're paid by Russians to heighten divisive tensions. Just know that whatever your intention or however it is you feel, the leaves on my Japanese maple in my yard have fallen and reveal beautiful red stems.

I agree halfway. I think the ability to like posts is nice but I think negative interactions shouldn’t be there. If you think someone’s post is bad tell them why, don’t do some passive-aggressive thumbs down or whatever.

I regret this, too. Not our call, nor were we even consulted.
