... that you run from DOS completely get rid of any viruses that you currently have on your computer? I've heard of a new virus that "Destroys" the 0 sector of a HD, but I don't see how one could really be "Destroyed". All a head can physically do to a platter is change the 0's or 1's right? SO in other words, if I were to get a "Destructive" virus would a low level format do away with it? What about a normal format?
As long as a HD still physically works can a low level format......
