I'm scratching my head here because it seems that someone else was talking a lot about investing outside the US but I can't seem to remember who that was. :hmm:

Its common sense these days, its a global market and US companies have a huge market overseas, manufacturing, software, banking, entertainment, everything has a significant market outside US. So investing only is US, today, is pretty much like putting all your eggs in one basket.

I just would like to know why DC blast China because of China lowering the value of its currency but I don't hear anyone blasting Japan for doing the same to the Yen.

Or actually, why aren't the Europeans screaming bloody murder at US because US is debasing the dollar as if there is no tomorrow?

The current Japanese problem is associated with China so they had to intervene.

The Japanese deflated their currency a few days ago (by issuing a few billion yens) because Yen was rising vs US dollar.
