A's are reeeed hot~

In the past 30 days they're #2 in the majors in batting average, and #1 in ERA. This despite not having any big name players aside from Zito and Chavez. The tradition of developing no name young guys like Hudson/Mulder/Tejada into guys who lead their team into winning continues. The 2nd half of the season will certainly be interesting, once Anaheim cools down and all..

Yup...they sure are. It's making Beane look brilliant...

Don't jinx it though man...they need to sweep the M's today.

Yea.. they took care of the Mets when they were there ..in fact...they took care of the NL East quite nicely and they played much better lately. After a disasterous start they are only 3 games under .500 and are 2.5 games behind Texas.. nice job there!

Not sure if they could catch the Angels but they play them plenty this season so there is hope for A's fans.

A's are notorious for getting red hot after poor starts though. Remember the 20 in a row?

Yeah I know they are and the A's are one of my favorite teams but they surely need another one of those if they stand a chance against the Angels who have quietly gathered the 2nd best record in baseball...

This team isn't close to as good as that team.

maybe not, but imagine if they could steal the wild card from the yankees. How sweet would that be?
