I think the ESPN page is having some problems, it has been sitting on Inning 5 for some time now... :( And being at work , it's my only way of knowing what's going on...

Hmmm 11-11 with the Royals up and have a runner on first.

Damn, the A's haven't scored since the 3rd and look to be going down hill. Oh well, looks like tejada will have to bail them out in the bottom of the 9th.

if tejada had thrown the guy out at third instead of trying for home plate it might have been a different story..

I'm sitting at work so I can't see anything.. I was just taking a wild guess but it looks like Hatteburg got to be the hero today.

Looks like the Mariners will be sucking hind tit pretty soon if they continue with their crappy ways.

"OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Oakland Athletics set an AL record by winning their 20th straight game -- in the most improbable way -- blowing an 11-run lead before Scott Hatteberg homered in the bottom of the ninth to beat Kansas City 12-11 Wednesday night. Scott Hatteberg's 9th inning HR gives A's the all-time, AL win-streak record."

...and for that I think this thread deserves a more dynamic title! ;)
