Artists/painters who famously can't draw people of the opposite gender

Not sure sure anyone here might know this, but an art student once showed me some fascinating examples of how some artists/painters were not good at drawing a person of both genders, like a man would have difficulty in drawing/painting, say a woman, without them always looking like men / having masculine features (particularly in the faces), and vice-versa for some female artists when trying to draw/paint men. (It could have not necessarily been the opposite gender).

It was apparently quite common and they showed me some examples of specific famous artists / painters who exhibited this in their work, but I can't recall the names.

Does anyone know about this phenomenon or recall of some artists that are known for this? Is there a proper expression or word for this.

Thanks

I can't draw people worth crap, though at one point I did take a drawing class and actually got somewhat decent at doing portrait style drawings or anything with lot of curves/shading. In general though I was mostly good at structural stuff with mostly straight lines. My goto drawing tools was pencil and ruler and I could wip up pretty cool stuff. I kinda considered becoming an architect when I was younger. Most kids were 2D drawing houses with oversized stick figures that are taller than the house and meanwhile I was 3D drawing bridges and roads and overpasses and stuff. Kinda wish I still had all my drawings from when I was a kid.

Been a while since I drew anything by hand now, I should try it again for fun to see if I'm any good.
