Specs:
Gigabyte DS3
Core 2 Duo E6300
2x512MB Corsair DDR2 800
BFG 7900GS factory overclocked

I'm getting artifacts (little flashes and blips on screen) in games (frequently) and in windows (rarely).

I've tried two different power supplies, an Antec 650w TRIO and an Enhance 500w.
I didn't get any errors running memtest+.
I've tried several driver versions, including the newest ones.
I've RMAed the card after going round and round with tech support, the replacement card exhibits the same behavior.

The only other PCI-E card I have access to is a vanilla 6800. I stuck that in and it worked fine.

Is there anything else I should be trying? Am I just that unlucky that both cards are faulty?
 
The card may be overclocked a little too far. Underclock the card to see if this is the problem. Also make sure your pci-e bus isn't overclocked.
 
I messed with this a lot over the weekend and I'm fairly confident that one of my sticks of RAM is bad. I tried in every slot and had the artifcat issues, the other stick worked fine in all the slots. I've got some new stuff coming.

Not sure what made me go back to test the RAM, but I'm happy I did.
