artifacts on my desktop wallpaper

Hey guys... i watched a few movies last night and when i woke up in the morning i had about 100 pixels on my screen blinking blue/green.... it was on my wallpaper mostly. And when i changed wallpapers the pixels would move. I rebooted and it still hapened so i took the card out and reseated it now its fine....

its not overclocked and its 45/c do you think it just got bumped out of the slot? driver problem or going bad?

i uninstalled all my tweak program and reinstalled my drivers and it still was doing it.. so i reseated it again and blew off a lil dust... seems to be working fine now... i think... i played a game and its fine. I put in for RMA but i got 15 days to decide if i wanna send it back..

what do you think/

It sounds like bad video memory.

Try setting it below stock clocks. Does the problem still happen?

EDIT: Just noticed the OP said he did not overclock.

i got this card last week... i got the speeds to 650/1736 it ran fine.. but its been stock speeds for last 2 days... now i get these things all over... it seems to be fixed for the moment but should i RMA it because i dont want it to go bad after my rma expires. 🙁

Thats why I don't oc right away. And then its only for benching as I never see a difference in games. But to each his own.

mine was screwed up in a similar way, turns out the dvi connector was a little loose.

wtf is going on lol... it seems to be fine now... ran 3dmark05 and got 8k... not the greatest but had no cpu oc and stuff running in BG... no artifacts in 3dmark... hmm

should i oc it a lil bit to se if the memory is going bad?
