I got artifacts in WoW after playing for a few hours. It did not hard lock (temps were only 62 on passive cooling). I stopped playing and the next day I removed my overclock.

Anyone recall the 8800gt stock speeds? I had it at 680 1650 950

I also got the nv4 display error during the locking.

After removing oc I had no problems (so far)

PSU is Earthwatts 500w

Any good ways to test video stability?

FurMark all you need has both stress and stability tests, give it a few hours .

Side Note I had a factory OC 7800GT once with same problem(never went above 65c under load),simple underclock fixed the issues.

Think its Gpu speed 600 MHz Memory clock rate 900MHz (1800MHz DDR3) for your card at default speeds.
