Artifacting while playing WC3

Up until about 2 weeks ago I've been running my x800gto2 fine and dandy at 520/580 and playing every game without a hitch (FEAR, CS:S, WC3:TFT, HL2, and CS mainly). But as of 2 weeks ago somewhere in the middle of playing WC3 (footmen frenzy custom game - insanely fun), the whole screen blacks out and then comes back completely artifacted. I cannot recognize or see anything at all. The sound is running just fine during all this and I can actually control my units and windows while not being able to see anything because the screen is just artifacts.

Now then, my question is if this is most likely the video card or some other thing on my computer. I'm leaning towards the video card since it's really just video being affected and all other system functions are working. I tried lowering the oc several times... to 520/560, 510/560, and now 500/540 (I haven't had the crash yet, but I've also barely played lately). The crashes don't happen every time I play, but often enough to cause alarm.

Wait so the video crashes even at 500/540? Or no..

Try using default clocks...

Worst case for the extra pipes on the GTO2 is that they're one of the few that are defective..

Yeah, that would probably be a worst case scenario in this case. I may have to end up getting an x1900xt. :b Regardless, I'm curious if Directron would cover an rma for this (the 1 year is from them because it was a brown box item) if it's not stable at stock speeds either. Since it's not a manuf I'm curious if it's not voided with oc'ing...
