Ok I'll admit I overclocked. Just to see what 3dMark score I could get (4747!) I used the nVidia System Utility and (truly)it was only for one day when I first got the card. I never had any problems until recently. First the temp shot up to 70 and now when I go to load any 3d games I see ghosts and waves of blue and green lines. I ran the CSS video stress test and got ERRORS spinning where the walls should be. I don't plan on shafting anyone for my f*up but haven't heard anything from XFX about repair.

Should I just send the card in and hope?

(The more I've researched the more I fear XFX has one tech guy in a dark basement working by candlelight)

In all honesty, I doubt that one overclock for a few hours caused this problem..

I think it has more to do with XFX's quality they put in there cards.

No way a few hours of overclocking did any harm.

BouZouki is right on the mark. I have a Sapphire Radeon X800 Pro (12-pipes, 475/450) that I soft-modded into a Radeon X850XT PE (16-pipes) and overclocked some more to 560/610. My card has been running like this for 8 months and I've NEVER had a problem.

You're probably going to have to RMA it. Stick with ASUS or MSI for nVidia GPUs IMHO.:)

the error signs that spin are not limited to your experience. Every one that has the latest source update have the problem.
