FCPU won't be the cheapest. If you have some other stuff to order, purchase some AS5 at the same time and you won't get tagged for shipping something that small.

I usually order several things at once from FCPU, so the shipping is good that way... The entire water cooling rig I spec'd out in another posted was under $10 shipping... That's arriving 2 days later...

I love FCPU because they ship FAST. The only thing they ever missed for a 6PM shipment was a PSU, and that was because they had to sleeve it, for FREE.

I actually purchased some AS from svc by itself. It ended up getting lost in the mail (the envelope was real small), but they offered to put a trace on it and when nothing came up, they sent me another one free of charge. A+ for service, C for packaging.

Did they refund you for the first one that got lost?? If not, then they didn't send you jack for free, since they just shipped what you were supposed to get.

FCPU doesn't ship in envelopes, at least not items that small... They might have sent some fans to me that way, I can't really recall which source I got those from. I do know that I have seen many of the FrozenCPU taped boxes arrive at my place...

Don't get AS5, it's not worth it. Buy a some of the thermal tape and use that instead, so much easier to put on and MUCH better performance.

;) j/k I actually found AS5 for $6 at Fry's in Renton WA. Total shipping cost: $0 :)

I've also had a couple of good experiences with Best Byte, which also has it for $5.99. Don't know if they still have free shipping though (mine came in an envelope, too, so it probably is).

Why the F would you use USPS for shipping????

Case and point I saved a config the other day, containing a 5.25" res., DangerDen TDX Athlon64 water block, DD Black Ice Xtreme 120mm rad., water pump, and tubing...
Ground shipping: $9.22
FedEx Express Saver (3 days): $24.65
USPS Express Mail: $54.05

FedEx ground= 2 days arrival time for me... So, the cheapest solution WILL arrive in 2 days (tops)... WHY pay for more expensive shipping when it won't get any faster? USPS is more on just about EVERYTHING when it comes to shipping.

Also, Arctic Silver Ceramique
FedEx Ground (2 days for me): $6.56
USPS Express Mail (1-2 days): $20.35

See a pattern??? I do... F USPS...

BTW, adding the Ceramique to the above water cooling rig added 24 CENTS to the shipping...

What are you smoking Akira? The OP asked about where to get the cheapest shipped AS5, not a water kit blah blah blah. Can you find it for less than $5.99 shipped. Please let us in on your secret where to get it cheaper. USPS has never failed me yet! I am not brand loyal, I'll take whoever ships it the cheapest, I could give a fat F who ships. What don't you understand about free shipping pard? $5.99 is the lowest price period unless YOU can tell us where it is..........:)

Not to mention that theres a HUGE difference in price between USPS Express mail and First class. I seriously doubt that UPS or Fedex could ship a tube of AS5 for less than $5.99 total.
