Artic silver 2 vs Artic silver 3

I've got a bottle of 2 year old Artic silver 2 lying around.. should i use it to put my new system tougether? or should I purchase the newest Artic silver 3...

There's a bunch of Ceramique reviews out there... and its usually available wherever you can buy AS3 as well... like SVC.com.

Ceramique performs just as good if not better than AS3 and is easier to apply and remove

And with Ceramique, it's much more affordable. The 22gram tube of the stuff costs around $10.00 shipped....that's a whole lot of processor TIM! 🙂

Take a look at this thread. The pictures are of AS2 after being in use for a short amount of time. The gist is that old AS2 will work adequately for a short period of time and then performance will drop. I recommend the Ceramique - much lower temperatures.
