Artic silver 2 vs Artic silver 3

I've got a bottle of 2 year old Artic silver 2 lying around.. should i use it to put my new system tougether? or should I purchase the newest Artic silver 3...

Well, new AS3 would be better than 2 year old AS2 ;)

But seems like Ceramique is the stuff to have, so I'd get that

Why is ceramique better? I thought the AS3 would be better? Please explain?

And with Ceramique, it's much more affordable. The 22gram tube of the stuff costs around $10.00 shipped....that's a whole lot of processor TIM! :)

Take a look at this thread. The pictures are of AS2 after being in use for a short amount of time. The gist is that old AS2 will work adequately for a short period of time and then performance will drop. I recommend the Ceramique - much lower temperatures.
