Artic Cooling MX-2?

All the reviews showed it being as good as AS5 or slightly better. If you've bought a arctic freezer pro, just leave it on there, applying as5 will be a waste of time, and of money 😛

It is relatively cheap (for 3.5g), easy to apply, and performs just about as well as the Coollaboratory Liquid Pro. Not to mention it is long lasting, non-conductive, and sanctioned by AMD (being made by Shin-Etsu apparently). If you already have a tube of AS5 or Ceramique, it probably would not be worth the expenditure unless you're looking for maximum efficiency. Full performance is realized right off the bat, no curing time required. My favorite was Ceramique pre-MX-2 🙂

It is, apparently, just as good as MX-1 with no curing time as PliotonX indicated. In other words, it's pretty good stuff (better than AS5).

just replaced the AS5 with MX-2 in the rig, and so far i have not notice any significant changes. The temperature at idle is now 32/30 vs 34/32 before, and full load is 1C cooler (57/57 under OTHOS vs. 58/58 before).

the system is a 3.6ghz E6750 with a CNPS9700.
