Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 Rev 2 problem

Alright so I just received my freezer pro 7 in the mail today and installed it, very easy install. I noticed though when I turn my computer on that the fan spins up for 2-3 seconds then stops. It rarely ever turns back on either. I have run boinc at 100% and Prime95 and temps have gotten up in the mid 60's yet the fan never will kick on. No settings in bios or any other program have been changed. Anyone have any ideas?

That's how mine is as well. The fan doesn't spin because it's temperature controlled. Once the temperature rises, the fan should start to spin.

Edit: I didn't realize that your temps reached in the mid 60s. The fan should definitely start to spin at that point.

Now I have that cooler for my 3 year old C2D system but it will start to spin when the place gets hot though.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a replacement fan for it to see if that would fix it. Funny thing was, after I came back from being away from my computer a bit I noticed the CPU fan running.... Hmmmm, so then I decided to start BOINC and see how it did and immediately the fan shut off when the cpu started to get a little warmer.

Another update: shutoff BOINC, cpu temps went down to around mid 30's C and the fan came back on for a minute at ~300rpm's only to shut back off again.
