Are you OC'ing by a high degree? If not get the Freezer from provantage, if you do OC dont touch the Freezer, get the Ninja. Same choices I made, ofcourse I tried both and paid $40 for my Ninja here on AT from someone.

The freezer is $21 shipped to me, the best value in hsf's. Don't get the ninja, if you;re going to go over $30 get the scythe mine for $35 shipped @ the egg. It'll be the same performance as the ninja, easily one of the top 5 coolers out there.

I don't know why everybody seems to want to spend your money the Arctic 7 pro works great for me. Folding 24/7 with an e6400 oc'd to 3.2 GHz runs 45c and very quiet, the deal from Provantage makes it even sweeter.

The temps are reported by Speed fan 41c Easy Tune 5 41c Core Temp 52c and Bios is 39c but this is obviously not under load. This is on the computer in my sig. running at 1.325v it has been running 24/7 folding on 1 core with the large work units. Also I use this computer for ripping and recoding DVD's so far these are the normal temps I see. My CPU fan speed as reported by Easy tune is 1050 RPM and this seems realistic for the minimal noise it makes. I have run the cpu fan directly off the 12v supply and it is noticably louder with about a 5-8 deg c lower temps reported by all the above methods. I live about 1/4 mile off the beach and my ambient temps are in the 10-20c range most of the time.

Jab-Tech offered 2 Yate Loons for 5$ and the AS5 for 5$ with the Scythe Ninja Rev. B so I jsut went ahead and got it getting the AS5 which I need and those 2 fans was cheaper then anywhere else and not a bad deal. Total for the 2 Yates and AS5 was 51.99 with the HSF.
