Wierdest thing happened today (the 3rd, I'm still up)...I was having a tough day at work, really frustrated. At some point I had a thought about one of my newly discovered musical artists, Arthur Lee and his band Love. I recently discovered the band when reading my rock n roll encyclopedia. The album Forever Changes, released in 1967, was raved to be one of the finest albums made. Since I'm a huge fan of older music, most of it predating myself, I decided I had to buy it. I have to concur with the raves. It is a phenominal album, especially if you are into late 60's psychedelia. It' one of the best of its time in my opinion...and it still sounds fresh and great today (it's available on an expanded and remastered CD). I'm amazed that I didn't discover this music sooner. Just a while ago, for no apparent reason, I searched for Arthur Lee on the net...to find that he died today. Wierd huh? All I can say is...thanks for the great music, Arthur...hope you find a better place than this.
