100%. There is a bit more structure to the messes created by humans.

Got the first one wrong. Great quiz, though. I don't think that artists are constrained to rules of logic or shape, but there's a difference between a good surrealist or impressionist painting, and that crap. This stuff doesn't produce any sort of emotional response or mental consideration in the viewer (unless they are the parent of a 2-year-old who is told that their kid did this).

#4 looks halfway decent for an abstract piece. I wouldn't mind having that one personally.

I got 100%. It wasn't that difficult really. Only the ones that showed some sense of organization were real artists.

100%. I'm not an art snob, but c'mon...if you can't tell, you're just not very perceptive.

100%, yeah it was easy. I guess it just goes to show that despite how hard they try artists just can't be completely random like an ape can. ;) It also shows how modern art is, indeed, quite similar to an ape's randomness.

You dummies I almost got the first one wrong because I almost went against my inclination after reading what a couple of you said. How in the world could you have gotten the first one wrong and thought anything different?? that was so obvious lol

Was easy to spot the difference, despite none of them being what I would consider art, except maybe the orange/gray/black one.

Funny that. It's actually a really famous Pollock piece called Yellow, Gray, Black.

its pretty easy to tell, there seems to be some idea of line and shape in the ones the artists painted, while none seem to exist in the ape paintings.

 All of the paintings by artists had some obvious signs of order. And they all used the whole canvas. The ape never used the whole canvas.

Voted ape for all of them since they looked like random paint splatters. Got 50%. I suspect the poll is rigged, I do not believe it's possible that "artists" would have painted any of those.

100% Doesn't mean I thought the artists' paintings were better that the apes', just noticeably different. Impressionist art just isn't to my taste.
