Both are pretty good. Two's sharpness and color wins it for me.

1 looks like it mimics a skyscraper, but the sky is a bit too bright for me. The whole thing about this is the texture of the object, so I don't want any bit of that blurred.

2 looks like it mimics a cliff, but the color of the sky is too dull for me. I'm on the fence if the darkness of the wood works, but leaning towards it does because it makes it seem as if you are under a cliff.

Get rid of the black corners. If you're going to do that little thing photographers do, don't make it completely black, either make it a little darker or don't have it so prominent. You're trying to give me a balance with negative space on the right side, I shouldn't be distracted by the black corners.

I like 2 by a touch, but tbh, I'm not crazy about either of them. They both almost work, but they feel really unbalanced to me. I don't know shit about art, so take this critique for what it's worth.

That was caused by my filters, I kinda liked it so I didn't crop it.

Here is #2 tweaked a bit:

It would look better with gray sky above it. Getting rid of the blur would help also.

im ok with both, but i do think you shouold edit the 2nd and make the clouds more prominent. that would give the good contrast i think it needs with the dark cliff face and the blue sky. the details on the cliff face need to be a bit more defined as well, and uniform all the way up. just my opinion tho.

and the sepia/ grey tone one sucks, makes it look bland.
