Art Supplies

So I'll be making a trip to Staples in a bit and I'm thinking about picking up some art supplies while I'm there. I already have a nice drawing pad, a set of hard and soft pencils and some Staedtler art erasers. Its been a while since I've done some serious artwork, but I enjoy it and would like to get back into it again. I draw just about everything, including vehicles, comics and a little manga. I've been thinking about getting a nice ink set to ink my manga and comics, but I'm not sure what to get. Can someone help me out with this? I've also wanted to get some good drawing paper that is specifically intended for inking and pencils. Can I get this at Staples, or should I try an art store? Also, I'm looking for a nice mechanical pencil. I've used the Dr. Grip PhD pencils before and I like them. Any other suggestions (sub $10 range please)?

For inking, I find a Sharpie extra fine point works well. What are your pencils like? Is it a full range--6B to 4H? I prefer a 4B for most things.

Oh, almost forgot to mention that I also do some drafting, so I wanted to ask, can I get vellum at Staples?

Brush + ink > all when it comes to working with ink. If you don't have a brush (get a fine tip and then one that is a little bigger, not much though) and a bottle or two of ink that should be your first purchase. Then some charcoal (vine and compressed). I'm not sure if Staples would have these, I've never been in one, but if you have a Michael's close by they will and usually have some kinda 1/2 off any one item coupon running in the paper each week.
