I'm on the "board" of http://www.journeyforjustin.com - we're raising money for my good friend who is surviving what would otherwise be unsurvivable because of the treatment he's getting in New York City. Unfortunately, his insurance doesn't cover the treatment, so we're raising money to help cover his expenses. So far, we've raised almost $10,000 since we started in September.

I just wanted to do a quick PSA in case anyone here was interested in attending an event like this. Here are the details:

There will be an Art Auction Benefit on December 17nd @ Salt Space NYC from 6:30pm-9:30PM. Location is: 1158 Broadway, 5th floor, New York, NY.

Bump for a good cause! The fundraiser is less than a block from my work! but it starts a bit too late and I have to get back to NJ.

I'm not too far away, but I have plans tonight and I'm not a big art person. I made a small donation through the website.
