I've been reading both forums and I think the people at ArsTechnica comes across as more intelligent than we are. What do you think?

as with any large population, we do indeed have some VERY intelligent members on this board. Unfortunately statistics dictates that we also have a proportionate number of incredibly STUPID members here. I'm sure you all could name a few.

Ooh, a tough one. Anandtech has many more people, but the people who frequent ArsTechnica seem to be older and better educated. I'd give ArsTechnica the nod on the science and math questions, even money on the technology and general knowlege questions, and Anandtech the nod on the pop culture and news questions.

I think that Anandtech and Slashdot would be a comparison. They seem to have the same amount of visitors, and a simular diverse audience. They both have a good number of smart folks, along with a good number of trolls and paranoid wackos.
