Arrrgh, what to do with this Nikon D70

I received a free 50mm f/1.8 lens from a friend for free a while back. I used that as an incentive to go pick up a Nikon D70s to learn digital photography, but it's been a few months now, and the thing has been collecting dust in my closet. I don't want to sell it, but don't know what to do with it!

Any Nikon shooters here have advice or suggestion on where to start?

either

1) use it
2) sell it

Should be able to fetch at least $600 for the body alone

why would you buy such a nice camera and let it go to waste like that???

And because you have just a 50mm lens?

The 50mm 1.8d is an AMAZING lens.... Its low price can be deceiving, but that is some EXCELLENT glass...

I'm not debating that, I have two myself (MF and AF), but it's of such limited value, especially on a digital. A true 'normal' lens on 35mm format is 45mm, making it 30mm on a Nikon digital. That was my not very significant point. 🙂
