ARRRGGHHH!!! The coke vending machine is broken... UPDATE 3! The cans are freezing

Bruce Lee must have come along and busted some jeet-kun-do out on it's ass. It's no longer cooling the drinks, it's now warming them up. It's at 97f right now. I'm thirsty as hell and now I have to wait 30 minutes or more while my drink cools off in the freezer.


UPDATE: Well, the cokes in the machine (as well as all the others I'm sure) have started to explode! The thermometer says its 119f right now. I bought a coked just to see if the machine was wrong and as soon as it dropped the can to the dispenser, it exploded. I have unplugged it since then. We've called them 3 times to come and fix it since I first posted it, and they still haven't come out. I really want a coke

Update2: Coke just showed up to fix it. Apparently a compressor went bad and they have to order a new one. That means that I won't have coke here for another couple of days

Update3: FINALLY AFTER OVER A MONTH OF WAITING THE BROUGHT A NEW COMPRESSOR IN. One problem, it's too effective. Now its at 27f and the cans are freezing!

What temp do you run your fridge and freezer at?

cold water has more capacity to remove heat then does air alone. Just stick it in some water and ice and it will chill down ina few minutes.

strange. the coke machine here has started to do the same thing - the heating up, not the exploding (yet)
luckily there's still free cokes and stuff left over in the fridge from our last press conference, so i don't have to go into withdrawal...
