I was in my electronics class today tweaking a custom PCI interface motor controller card I assembled from scratch - I mean, I started with ground up broken eyeglass lenses, refined the silicon... you get the idea - and some weird guy came in and started talking to the teacher. I guess he was a former student or something :rolleyes;

Anyway, he comes over, and is all like "Man, I remember when I was just a dumb kid like you in this crappy class.."

I'm like "WTF dude, this is, this is independent study. I'm working on a project for the UIUC robotics department"

He just stands there glaring at me and goes "uh, whatvever"

I explained to him the project I did last year assembing a 500 computer cluster for the U, and the software I wrote for Ebay Store, and he's all, "yeah I bet you don't know C++"

I showed him the source for some assembly I'm working on for a wristwatch PDA, and figure he will go away, but he just keeps standing there staring at me.

Finally he points to the dual opteron I have sitting in the corner, and says "that your rig? AMD sucks!"

I was so pissed!

(I hate adults..... for the most part)
 
I think you're getting a little too worked up over an obvious moron. Just ignore him and keep on enjoying your work.
 
After 10 years of working for pointy-haired bosses, you might not be able to have a coherent conversation too.

Intels 32bit P4s are far more superior than AMDs 64bit because 64 takes twice as long to process. its a simple math equation. 32x2=64, so it takes twice as long newb. i pwned you! *gruntsnort*

Then look him strait in the eyes for 3 secs, glare and shake yer head for a split sec at him, go back to what you were doing, in a soft voice but loud enogh for him to hear you, say, "pwnt b!tch".
