Arrghh... I think I broke my right hand -- Update: Not broken :)

Got into a little bit of a scuffle last night and I think I broke my right hand. I know I at least broke a bunch of blood vessles in my right index finger and thumb. Typing is a bitch. I'm gonna go to the doctor later today to see whats up, but my hand hurts like a son-of-a-bitch -- I have bruises all up and down my finger and thumb, even one right on the tip of my finger.

Just got back from the Dr.'s office -- it's not broken :) just bruised. Still hurts, but they gave me some pills to help with that :)

Ouch

You should have gone to the ER. I broke my thumb last year and it took almost a year to feel right again.

Good luck if it is broken.

my cousin-in-law broke his hand too about 2 days ago, yeah it was his right

ouch.. i hope the doctor gives you good news. Hopefully after some pain killers and a little ice, you'll be back up to full neffing potential.

No, it was with this guy who tried to beat me up in highschool. It was the only fight I was ever involved in highschool. He was a senior and I was a freshman. He decided he didn't like me cuz I swayed when I walked. Anyway, he started some sh!t and started pushing me around and had just started swinging at me when all of my friends (who also happened to be friends with him) came over and started to beat the hell out of him for trying to jump me. Anyway, he was embarassed and hurt for because his friends did that to him. He was pissy for the rest of the year and then he moved away and I hadn't seen him since then until yesterday. I guess he was still bitter and still wanted to fight me. I have always had a grudge against him as well. So he started all the sh!t back up, but I got my revenge :)

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for too. It is really bruised though, so I'm a little scared. Oh well. It was worth it.

I've injured my hands dozens of times over the years from sparring to hitting Makiwara Boards so I have a little experience with it. First thing I do is take a couple of Advils and soak it in a hot(as hot as I can stand) bowl of water with epsons salt till the water gets cool. Then I put a cold compress on it for a good long while. I do this repeatedly for the first 24 hours and if I don't see a considerable improvement I go to the Doc's office.
