ARRGH, VGA problem in Win2000! Anyone out there with the thinking cap on?

I just installed win2000 in conjunction with an upgrade (below). In win2k the VGAsave had a conflict in resources. Installing the GTSpro was not working and I opened display- and de-activated VGAsave.

Now, win2k wont even start in fail-safe. There is an option as I press F8 during boot to activate VGA, but alas, it doesn't work.

Moreover: My RAID-discs seem to boot slower, and I imagine that Win98SE is affected and run slower thanks to this. What can I do? Anyone?

The only advice I can give you is to boot off of the Win2K CD-ROM and there should be an option about repairing a previous install. I never used this options myself however...
