ARRGH!! Those Carl's Jr. Ads rant!

[rant] Is it just me or are all those Carl's Jr. ads where the people are porking there way through a sloppy burger WITH ALL THE SOUNDS TO BOOT just the most annoying, repulsive, disgusting thing you've expenence in a long time? :disgust:

Sorry, but I just lunge for the remote mute button when they come on. I cannot stand it; gonna think seriously about boycotting Carl's

Never seen them myself, but I agree on principle. I HATE those KFC ads where everyone is smacking and cruching and chewing with their mouths open!!!! Did these people never learn how to eat in polite company? Those disgusting sounds are definitely not the way to get me to buy your product.

Lemonhead, Palad - Perhaps this is a marketing strategy... to show how delicious and juicy the burger and chicken are, the companies have decided to show inviduals like yourself eating loudly and obnoxiously because they are indulged in such great food that nothing else, not even their etiquette!

I'm sure that Carls just want to show how overloaded their burgers are w/ the good stuff that you would have a hard time keep the burger from 'dripping'

And the KFC people are probably just so impressed by the crunchiness (is that even a word?) of the chicken that they can't help but drop their jaws

do you listen to the radio in LA? I listen to 97.1 the FM Talk station and not only do you get commericals on tvs, but those radio commercial are worse. But I do have to say that everytime I hear it, it makes me want to go and buy a burger, i'm not joking. I can see how advertising works so well. I give the ad guys credit, but the radio commericals are much worse than the tv ones, TRUUUUUUUUUUUST ME
