I bought Taboo the board game for $26.00 at Target, but Walmart has it for $20.00. This is not an advertised price, just normal pricing in both stores. Anybody know if Target will adjust the price if I bring it back with the receipt?

I searched Target's website and I didn't see anything on pricematching.

**EDIT**
Thanks for the replies. I'm out $6. Gah.

I see no fraud here. He is simply returning the product at Target and buying it at Wallmart.

Wouldn't work anyway, they want a receipt for the return etc etc etc.

He already bought the game at target. Slewfoot is telling him to return it to Target for a refund, and buy it at Wallmart for $6 less. How is that fraud?

I believe you are correct theflyingpig, but the wording isn't clear IMO!

The answer to your question is no, Target won't pricematch an unadvertised price.

Yeah if I had to buy something and I knew I could get it cheaper elsewhere, I would just return the bought item at the higher price store and keep the lower price one.

Just for clarification on my part weirdichi, when did you purchase the game at Target?

For $6? I probably wouldn't bother, especially since you'll have to waste the gas going to Walmart and then back to Target.

In my experience, they don't price match at all.

You may be right... I think they do "match" their own price if they drop the price within a certain period of time (7 days?)
