yeah, some women was selling her ex husbands boat a few weeks ago for 1800. I think it was around a 15 foot jon boat with a ray electric motor. the motor was 5000 itself. the boat and trailer was probably around 3k. someone got a steal of a deal.

Agreed. Having had my 3G iphone snagged out of my jacket, I wouldn't be surprise that some of those cheap iphones on CL are stolen.

I love craigslist. I just bought a 22 year old built like a tank Craftsman wood chipper with a 5HP Briggs & Stratton engine for $80. Everything on it is solid heavy steel, no plastic anything and all it needed was a new air filter & spark plug. Even has a brand new bag to catch the chips.

So when you ask the guy if it's stolen, and he says no, then you just tell him he's a liar and refuse to buy it? In some cases, you might as well buy it, because if you don't, somebody else will.

At least that's my reasoning.

He paid 249.99 or so and was asking 299.99
