ARRGGH Coupons have yet to work for me

Dell coupons... I keep finding them and they say they dont expire until Sept. 01
but when i add them to my cart they return this pointless message:

"The following coupons have been entered but require additional information or do not meet eligibility requirements. Click "View Details" link(s) for more information."

only when i click on view details it tells me absolutely nothing...

anyone walk me thru this please?

Sometimes the coupons only apply to specific areas of Dell - e.g.- Small Business (usually), Home Office etc. In order to use a SB coupon for example, you have to browse to the product via the 'Small Business' link on Dell homepage. There might be other reasons for this error of course, but I've personally experienced this category invalid problem before...

is it that special offer that is preventing it?

because i didnt even select that offer... i just chose a 9300, customized it, and added it to cart

i would prefer the 35% off

ok it looks like i am grabbing home coupons on the business section of the DELL site

unfortunately a lot of the sites are not specifying business or home coupons

Also, coupons are released before they are active. Check out the start date on your coupon.

And post questions like this in Off Topic. I'm surprised the locals have jumped all over you yet.
