ARRGGGGG @#$%@ usb drive

i had a paper saved on my usb drive... now when i plug it into my pc it takes like 20 seconds until it asks if i want to format it.

I had that problem on a floppy disk using windows. My dad who knows how to use linux (I don't know how) did some command and was able to retrieve the file still.
