Played for 30 minutes. Now I have a headache and uneazy sick feeling in my stomach.

I havent played a 3D shooter like Doom3 in a while. Quake2 was the last one I played that did this, but I had to play for short periods of time and eventually worked up enough tolerance where I could play without it bothering me much.

Anyone else experience this from 3D shooters?

I use to get like that with Wolfenstein, tho with Doom 3 I don't.

Maybe your refresh rate?

Hmm, maybe thats it. It is probably running at 60Hz.

When I feel better I'll figure out how to raise it 85hz and try again.

Reduce video settings until you get a much higher FPS.
I think that makes a much bigger difference than refresh rate.

No but if I watch someone else play...that's another story!

I remember Forsaken...that thing would definitely mess with you!

Cheers!

Doesn't happen to me with my LCD. I used to get motion sicknessback in the day from Wolf3d and Blake Stone. Especially Blake Stone. Probably had to do with my old sh|tty monitor back in those days though.
