Arrested for having a pressure cooker

It makes NO sense to bring a pressure cooker here to commit a crime. So much easier to buy one cash and have there be no paper trailer. Flying one in from around the world? Holy crap, that's a stretch.

Some suggest it was a 'dry run'.

First trip, travel with a 'plain' pressure cooker. If it goes through with no problem, on the second trip you take a pressure cooker bomb hoping it will pass through just as easily. The airplane itself could be target of the bomb.

I've been through so many border crossings that I've run through several passports (all the pages were filled border stamps etc.).

I've never seen any border agent rip any passport page.

Agreed, and to add to this, pages certainly don't just fall out.
